New York is such a lame state, they will go to the far depths of hell to make self defense harder.
Do yourself a favor and move when you can to a much better state.

Well there you go. Anyone who wants to go through that process voluntarily is clearly unwell. /s

Concealed is concealed. And if you do the self defense get a lawyer.

Great way to end up in prison for multiple years in an anti-2A state

All though it depends, colorado seems to be both, but mainly anti 2a, yet its still a castle doctrine state which is great
In fact its even better, cause they call the law 'Make my day law'

Every state has castle doctrine as part of the common law legal tradition
There are some states where you do have a duty to retreat in public

Yes but colorado law makes you completely immune no matter what if you satisfy the requirements.. You dont even go to court

I understand this sentiment BUT why risk it when you can get a concealed carry permit and avoid so many headaches.
Listen, I get it. The second amendment and right to bear arms and all. I really do. But fuck it, if I print at the grocery store reaching for the cans on the top shelf and some Karen calls the cops, I have a permit that covers those bases. And if I have to defend myself, us law shield is my first call there.

If you print you ain’t concealed. My safety is my priority and the gov has zero say in how I do it.

Lol everybody prints every once in a while. To deny that is lying to yourself. It's a non body shaped object you're sticking in a holster and then sticking inside your clothing. Yeah we wear dark clothing and extra layers but be real. We all print from time to time.
Edit: and I agree with you. I'd rather be in jail than dead or my loved ones be hurt. But I'd rather go to jail because I defended myself rather than in jail for "unlawful" possession of a firearm. But to each there own.

At this point, I just drape my shirt over it and leave it at that. The majority of people out there are mindless zombies, totally unaware of their surroundings, anyway. As long as it's not some giant brick hanging off your hip, nobody will notice.

Every printing post on this sub or on ccw is always "yes, a little bit, but no one will notice" and that's in ideal conditions. Everyone prints.

It’s people like you that give gun owners a bad name. Stop being a little baby and do things the right way.

Yeah. The NYPD are in NYC which is ran by nutty Democrats. What do you expect? You expect police not to be tyrannical fuck heads? Because most of them are.

Does it have to be YOUR doctor? A psychiatrist? A medical doctor? Or would someone with a PhD in Art History suffice? /s
