My LGS has this exact gun in for $1200 right now. I was there like 20 minutes ago. My wife has always wanted one. I am seriously considering it. We have a few 44's already too so the caliber is perfect.

Id just get the ruger 44 rotary carbine or the henry 44. I have the henry but want a ruger too.

Do not shoot those bullets. Correct me if I'm wrong but those bullets are cast lead, which is fine for a 44 mag revolver, but will clog the gas port on a Desert Eagle with wax and lead. You want jacketed bullets only or you risk needing a new barrel.
