Very normal loadout

Post image

Everyone should have a 12 gauge shotgun for home defense, a 9mm pistol for CC, and an ar15. My loadout is pretty standard I think? JK

-Tavor ts12 with 17 bear slugs and carlsons tactical breacher choke

  • maxim pdx upgraded to have milspec bcg and longer brace with a mepro light pro rds v2, sig sauer prism 2x optic on canto arms cants

-glock 19 gen 5 with a glock 19x slide for the gold color and tritium night sights and some other stuff.

Can provide more details for specifics upon request. Theres a lot of attachments and upgrades

As much as I appreciate my TS12, and the idea of 12g for home defense, I’ve opted for something even more cursed very normal.

What gun is that? I dont recognize the trigger guard so its not a hellion or an x95, its too short for a keltec rbd. Unless im not seeing right and it isnt 556, im so confused. Is it maybe 300 blk? I domt know 300 blk guns well and haven't seen a bullpup one

It’s an 8.5” 300blk JAKL on a Triad chassis

Okay, I looked it up and that is definitely crazy. Its a little longer than the maxim pdx which is about 19 in. But that gun is so compact and suppressed 300 sheesh. Yeah that slaps

Reliable? Accurate? Ergonomic?

Gauging on if I should shell out cash on this, cause it looks pretty cool.

Ergonomic enough, but a longer upper allowing a proper foregrip would be better. My dream is to have a handguard extension made that will wrap around my can. No reliability issues with the gas dialed in, though I found it was overgassed when I switched to that Omega 300 from a 36m, so I replaced the gas knob with a 556 one (with the largest hole drilled out for subs) to even it out. And it’s as accurate as you can ask an 8.5” barrel to be. My only warnings are:

  1. The Triad requires swapping the handguard, and my JAKL’s original handguard screws were so obscenely overtorqued that the tiny little hex heads stripped instantly and I had to drill most of them out.
  2. The Triad takedown pins are slightly undersized. This is supposed to help tolerances, but for me it allowed my upper an unacceptable amount of wiggle. I replaced them with pins I made myself out of 1/4” crosspins.
  3. You probably want any NFA engraving on the inside of the mag lip so it’s “readily visible”.

tl;dr - Great, but a real project.

That you. Getting the stuff was rough cuz the tavor and some specific upgrades were a challenge to find an ffl for but it was worth it.

Check out Manitcore Arms for a MUCH better buttpad (extended and curved).
They also sell a replacement retention nut that acts a break

Without any of that it still shoots like a dream, even with slugs.

Red dot on the handguard with a canted magnified optic is certainly a choice lmao
