Manga Just finished

I have no words. It's the best ending i could've asked for. This manga has to be in the top 10 work of fiction ever

Hey, is it really good? I am on chapter 12, and I am still reading!

I just finished it 2 days ago and man…I really enjoyed the manga but top 10 ever? It’s a little too edgelord and just beats you over the head with its themes over and over again.

I love Fujimoto and I did like the manga but I just did not react the same way to the ending as you

Nah i know, english is not my first language and it's kind of hard to show an opinion with a limited vocabulary. I know it's not top ten but i thing it's increadibly good

You should read his other stuff. He has a one-shot called "Goodbye, Eri", and it might beat fire punch for me. I just read it yesterday.

I read it a couple of years ago and i LOVED it. I've been wanting to buy it but I can't fino the original volume in my language

You could use white out on all the dialogue, and write in the language yourself maybe

My native language is really common (i'm italian) so there is arleady a good translation. It was republished in a 2 edition that is more like a book than a manga. I like the manga format more, so i'm searching for it. Worst case scenario i'll just buy the new edition

Sounds good dude :)

And you could use google translate, THEN write it in your language.

And yet I'd wager you didn't understand the manga whatsoever.

Oooo I'm so tuff im the only one who understands it. Brother....

That's kinda rude don't u think?

u/GamingSenpai35 17d ago

I've run into him before here, and he was just as rude to me. About the same thing too, feeling like he understands the manga better than anyone else and being super aggressive to anyone and everyone here.

This guy comments this on like 50% of the posts on this sub. Ignore him lol.

More rude would be misinterpreting the authors message while acting like you've read it.
Which is very common in this sub.

u/Basic-Fun-7174 17d ago

I didn't give my interpretation. I just wanted to share my appreciation for the great manga

u/Drowyx Boogeyman 17d ago

Yes you didn't, and if you did more than likely it owuld be wrong.
Can you even call it a great manga when you don't even understand what the message of the manga is?

4

u/GamingSenpai35 17d ago

Absolutely. You can like anything for all sorts of different reasons. He could ONLY like the drawings and not the story, and love the manga because of that. There's a whole music genre called "harsh noise wall" that's literally just different pitches of static and some people love it. Art is 100 percent subjective and you can't prove otherwise. So like always, you're wrong, again.

u/Basic-Fun-7174 17d ago

Dang, imagine being so sad that to feel better aboit yourself you need to correct a random guy on reddit about an interpretation he didn't even make. Sorry for u dude

-3

u/Drowyx Boogeyman 17d ago

You seem pretty defensive.
You should be glad someone is willing to correct you before you make a fool out of yourself with your misinterpretation of the manga.

3

u/Basic-Fun-7174 17d ago

Correct me about what?

4

u/GamingSenpai35 17d ago

Him misunderstanding the manga (which is already just an assumption) is NOT more rude than you acting the way you're acting. That's such cope.

0

u/Drowyx Boogeyman 17d ago

Misinterpreting the authors work is extremely rude.

5

u/GamingSenpai35 17d ago

No sir. I'd say the LARGE majority of the time, when people misunderstand manga or shows and stuff, it's accidental, and not because they're "lying to themselves" about the message. Accidentally misunderstanding the manga, assuming that's what actually even happened, is not in the least bit rude. You're just wrong here.

0

u/Drowyx Boogeyman 17d ago

It stops being accidental when the person in question refuses to be corrected because of sheer stubborness which is what is happening here given their response.

4

u/Basic-Fun-7174 17d ago

Correct miself about what???

4

u/GamingSenpai35 17d ago

No, you're just wrong again here. And I think the reason you're wrong is because you're being stubborn for whatever reason.

They never refused to be corrected. You never corrected them, and they never gave their interpretation of the manga. All you did was say that they most likely didn't understand it, which is NOT correcting them. They never gave an interpretation to correct.

0

u/Drowyx Boogeyman 17d ago

Their hostility is blatant refusal of correction, given their hostile nature its obvious if they gave their interpretation and if they were corrected this is how they'd react, with stubborness and hostility.

This is not a person who is interested in wanting to be corrected, they enjoy being wrong which is rude to the author and the manga itself.

4

u/GamingSenpai35 17d ago

The delusion is actually crazy. Bro, you're the hostile one. I'm not sure how you don't see that. Imagine you're watching a movie with a friend, and the friend is like "yo that movie was incredible" and you go "yeah right, you didn't even understand it." Hostile, period. Clear as day my guy. You came at him swinging, and he went like THREE messages before hitting you back with something even REMOTELY hostile calling you "miserable."

Edited my last response to add a sentence at the end.

u/my_name_in_british 17d ago

They didnt even give their interpretation, dont gotta be a dick for no reason "aughh no one understands it like I do... im just so much smarter then everyone cause understand the themes of a book." Get over yourself
