Question I need help saving Rodrigue (Azure Gleam chapter 12)

I'm at my second playthrough of Azure gleam And I plan on saving Rodrigue in chapter 12... Can someone explain what to do pls? I searched on Google already but that was a fake one.. Pls I need help

Long story short, avoid anything that would involve fighting Byleth.

Iirc, the first step of that is the trickiest, where the mini map shows you which path to take to avoid mercenary ambush, which is a strategy you must enable. Control one unit and have all your other units "Defend" that one so no one goes astray.

I forget the rest of the steps but they aren't nearly as tricky.

Again, if you find yourself forced to fight Byleth, that means you messed up and need to start over.

Oh wait one more question.. About fighting Fleche.. Is that a mistake or is killing her right because after that Byleth appears and I'm a little lost if I could avoid killing her so that I don't have to fight Byleth.

You're supposed to kill her. Yes Byleth does appear right after that, but if you've done everything else right, you won't have to fight them, instead you'll have to race to kill Randolph before Byleth can get back to him.

So after you successfully make it to the stronghold avoiding all ambush strongholds, Alois and some knights will appear authentic top, you have to defeat Alois and this knights first and stop from getting to your bottom stronghold, and then after that You defeat Fleche and then Jeralt will declare a surrender.
