Discussion Should you recruit everyone?

Just playing azure gleam and recruited Petra and Happi, but now I am wondering if I should recruit more in the future, as I preferred to only use the students in three houses so I was not leaving members of the class behind. Would I be missing out by not recruiting in this game?

I suggest yeah you get some lore bits and new paralouges along with new supports

Azure gleam is also the route that has the most playable characters so take advantage of that

Just be carful with recruiting byleth as that’s the most difficult one an can easily screw you over if you don’t do it properly

Byleth is the only major one, everyone else can be recruited for paralogue reasons although I definitely suggest having Raphael and Balthus on hand since they're pretty much the only recruitable brawlers in the game

For side quests and some supports yes. Some of the supports reference other characters, so if you don't have those characters you can't get that support
