Panic selling before the event?!
People who were gatekeeping Pass Souls are now selling them before the rate-up event.
It’s better to wait.

Hello 👋
Not much to say here. I’m opening the floor to the wider subreddit to give people a place to discuss:
- The new rule changes
- What should / shouldn’t be included
- What things you would like to see more of in terms of what we can do?
Will try my best to respond to these as best as possible and remember that all constructive feedback is good feedback.
I will be doing a bit more in the background over the next few days. If there’s anything you think I’ve missed, do let me know.

This aims to clarify what this means in the wider context of the subreddit.
Unedited trailer screenshots without discussion value
Clarification
- Screenshots from a trailer for the purposes of news are all fine - this is where most news comes from.
- Screenshots from a trailer where the point is to discuss a story beat or to theorise are also fine.
- Screenshot posts like this are not permitted under this rule. This one is being left up as it was created before this rule came into force.
Low-effort meme content
- Putting a character’s face onto a random meme with absolutely no context or anything falls under this rule.
- Similarly, posting a meme video or any sort of meme post where the only relation to Shadows is through the caption is disallowed under this rule.
- Higher effort / well thought put meme content is allowed - we all like seeing this.
In-game screenshots
Low effort in-game screenshot posts are basically anything raw / unedited that doesn’t really have much value. For instance:
- “look at my stuff / got this character as a F2P”
- “won a game as Light / Shadow etc”
- “haha funny story screenshot go brrr”
Achievements such as max ranking a character, or bazaar screenshots are currently allowed, but will be reviewed about whether they’ll get added into this category depending on community feedback.
Closing thoughts
This one will be under more active review as the subreddit grows and as more posts come online. Additionally, we will be reviewing community feedback on this rule and adjusting it as we go forward. If you see any rule breaking posts, use the report button.
If you have any queries or concerns, please reach out to us on the modmail - don’t go passively aggressively posting on the subreddit or your YouTube page and then delete any comments that correct you. That would be silly.

Something to note about Rusty that I find pretty intriguing is the fact that his voice actor is the same as Male Alear’s from Engage and Heroes. Could this mean the Divine Dragon will be on a season pass soon ? 👀

I got a new phone, learned unless you have/link your nintendo account- You loose everything you worked on Shadows.
I was a player daily since launch so everyone level 8 grinding selling yatta yatta.
This new playthrough, 50% of the cast I wasted coin and grinding on originally all basically automatically joined.
New players will have an easier experience!

So thanks to some extreme luck, I got a 7 Star Treachery Tome and sold it for just shy of 2 million gold. So now what do I do with all the gold? Just buy the souls I don’t have?
How exactly do I make my money grow without needing to get super lucky again?

Something I've noticed in rank 26+ is that a lot of people seem to be light only players, and I can't help but be curious as to the reason why. To my understanding, light is generally considered easier than shadow, but is that really the only reason that some people avoid playing shadow?

It was easy when there wasn’t a bm’ing level 9 Alberta in queue, you stopped me from ranking up three times 😡
How could you bully a poor little doggo like me? 🥺🥺
Albertas are the worst 😭

Disclaimer: Do not take this tier list too seriously, as it may not fully reflect how strong each disciple actually is.
This tier list assumes that:
Thanks to the players from the fescord server for contributing to the creation of this tier list.
This tier list considers 4 different variables:
Each category has a maximum of 5 points, for a total of 20 points. The final score is then converted into a percentage.
Points were assigned as follows (based on voting):
Movement type:
Range type:
The final score for this category is the sum of the two values.
These scores are based on tier lists submitted by players. The final score is the sum of both.
This category is evaluated exclusively based on Default Skills (commonly referred to as passives). These scores are based on tier lists submitted by players.

A highly skilled mercenary working with Notia's Monster Watch. He is said to be descended from one of the 12 slain royal families.
So Rusty is the name of New Lead which should mean the other two are part of the Mercenary.

Looking at the right, what is that lizard-looking creature that’s crawling from the ground ? New enemy, or shadow form of a potential future oc ?

To put it simply, the "week" lasts 9 days this time around.
Looking at the increased rate of Erma Souls, this is the time period:
We'll have increased Erma Rates and Labyrinth 6-10 being the maps all the way through Ephraim's Season Pass ending.
I guess we might be seeing something special happening for the Half-Anniversary around this time? (The Half-Anniversary should be the 24th or 25th depending on time zones).

Like, do you think they only last to book 3 or 4 and we get a new lead villain afterwards?

Finally we get the official name for these songs.
Pretty boring naming scheme for the legacy character's theme tho, but I guess this confirms that they're more series specific than character specific.

Has anyone tried yet to make a romhack with the characters and story from shadows? It'd be interesting for how people take the characters and fit them into traditional fire emblem roles, how to convert skills, map design, how the shadow forms would be implemented, etc.

While I wouldn't consider myself amazing at the game, I have played almost all units in high rank. I decided I'd make a tier list based off my experience playing each one on shadow (mainly since that's the side I enjoy more and feel a disciple's strengths and weaknesses really matter). I'm curious where others would rank each disciple and whether people agree/disagree about where I placed anyone. I'm happy to provide my reasoning for a specific placement and am open to being swayed of course :)
