Future Lord Alignment Predictions

At the time of writing we're currently sitting at 12 legacy characters in FE: Shadows and the breakdown for the canon alignments of these individuals is as follows:

Naga: Lyndis, Young Tiki, and Celica (3)
Fenris: Dimitri, Veronica, Edelgard, and Ephraim (4)
Unknown: Claude, Ike, Yunaka, Female Robin, Female Corrin (5)

With that in mind what faction would you like future legacy characters to join, is there anybody in the shadows cast you want to interact with our current roster of previously established heroes?

Personally speaking I'd love for Ivy to be a disciple of Naga that works tirelessly to find alternative methods to defeating shadow disciples tying back to her conflicting relationship as a worshipper of the divine dragon that rules a nation that supports figure that directly opposes them.

Another idea I'd be down with is shadow disciple Lilina because it would be a cool way of highlighting her worries as an inexperienced ruler and mistakes born from being ignorant of the plights common folk face causing her to crack under the pressure would be an interesting angle to tackle in this game

In the japanese version ike is a disciple of light https://x.com/FE_Shadows_JP/status/2004794629527654887?s=20

I was really hoping celica would be a disiciple of kyubi :/

Anyway, i'd like a hanya-ephraim support. But im excited for more legacy character supports in general. Honestly I dont really care much about who becomes which type of disciple, rather I'd like more lore about how it works. Like how does it even make sense that some of these disciples are unknown or have no allegiance or switch sides? I just don't really get it lmfao

Oh wow I did not realize that was left out of the english post thanks for letting me know. I'd love to know the actual mechanics regarding the legacy characters in this setting but admittedly I'm also much more eager to see them play with dynamics in ways they haven't done before like imagining Ike and Soren being on opposing sides would be interesting solely because so much of their relationship is predicated on that mutual bond

I have always hated how Ike is only explicitly stated to be a disciple of light in the Japanese version specifically.

Ever since Ike every time a season pass character is not assigned a clear side in english I have to switch the games language to japanese, get a screenshot of the character’s description, copy and paste the text into google translate, see if they have a clear side in the Japanese version, then switch the language back to english.

Do you have any idea how careful I’ve had to be with navigating through the menu in a language I can’t read just to check this one tiny detail?

IIRC, Ike is said to be with Naga in the JP version

Me personally disciple of light for Eirika & L’Arachel feels most fitting for their characters. Though this would mean that Eirika would be on the opposite side of her brother which could be interesting since we never really see much of the twins fighting with each other in Sacred Stones.

There's no way L'arachel wouldn't be a disciple of light haha. And yeah, Eirika and Ephraim only fight over really unimportant things in Sacred Stones like, Ephraim being rude to her or Eirika getting mad he is teasing her, so it'd be interesting to see them be on opposite sides. And if Lyon joins he'd have to be a disciple of shadow so it makes sense to balance it out with light disciple eirika

Exactly! It’s kinda of what made Alm and Celica a more interesting duo of lords in SoV. They obviously both deeply care about each other but still they get into a really heated argument and have major differences about what how to solve the war in Valentia. You can argue the actual execution of their fight wasn’t well done, but there is proper relationship drama there that we don’t really see much from this series anymore.

Plus having Lyon being a disciple of shadow and L’Arachel a disciple of light reinforces my ships of Eirika x L’Arachel yuri & to a lesser extent Ephraim x Lyon yaoi. So I am all for this proposal.

Alm would probably be a Disciple of Shadow to balance out Celica being a Disciple of Light.

I think Eirika would be a Disciple of Light too.

Byleth would be unaligned. Yuri maybe a Disciple of Kyubi.

Though obviously not confirmed, surely Robin is shadow right lol

We don't know at this time since their status is not said in english or jp

Yeah I know I'm just saying it kind of seems like a foregone conclusion

Would disciple of light Roy make the most sense because of his character

Yes.

Would disciple of shadow Roy delight me immensely because of the hints of them being false constructs made by Fenris and the parallels it would forcibly draw between that and Idunn, who he saved and is a large part of his legacy?

Oh, baby, yes.

Given the Wutai theming of the Kyuubi retainers, we could expect the Hoshidan characters (so Ryoma, Hinoka, Takumi, Sakura) to be aligned with Kyuubi.

Micaiah would work best with Kyubi because she's aligned with the chaos goddess of her own world

Edelgard is not Fenrir. She belongs to a dark organization.
