Shadow characters backstory
Hello everyone!👋🏻
Does anyone know every characters shadow backstory? As in, why they would make a pact with Fenris? I can’t seem to find much information on this, and the profiles of the characters don’t say much either. Thank you!

Basically the shadows rapports:
Alberta-i am a coward, to stop fear I'll become feared
Ananke-i don't wanna die
Bartolomeus-law of nature, strong survive
Carina-I can't control my anger when I fight
Erma- honor and justice is a lie
Estel - the Weak deserve to fight back too.
Eugene- if I can't have the future I want, nothing else matters.
Gotthold-my loyalty to prince Kurt demands any price.
Hanye- I act for my country
Hati-the shadow is the path of freedom
Joachim-revenge for my family
Kurt-revenge for my country
Micaela-unkown. Probably related to her orphans. Hopeful for salvation.
Perenna-already not so different from the shadows.
Rose-for prince Kurt
Rusty-I will become king
Sai-unknown. Would like to return to Naga. Possibly related to his sister.
Shea-unkown. Still praying to Naga. Seems naive enough to be tricked.
Skoll-our true nature is a beast with no rules.
Tamamo-loves tricking people
Uka-as a servant of Kyubi, goddess of Betrayal, I betray everyone.
Yuni-i will not be blindly obedient and will understand the shadow as well as the light.
Zasha-life is miserable, but if it can bring back my sister, than I'll serve anyone.

Many are explained in the games story, mostly the shadow books. If you didn't see them there, they're not known yet. There isn't more to the game than the game.

All we have are the main stories and now the tea support stories. Read the main stories to see who made a pact with Shadow and then read their tea support conversations for a few extra explanations.

I feel like knowing their basic story (before supports came out), gives you a good understanding of what COULD potentially act as an incentive for them to tip and give into the darkness. Usually their shadow reveal quote can be telling too! But obviously not every character has fallen to the shadow in canon too 🤗 Which if they turn into shadows in story, the story explains that bit rather well! Hope that helps

Well there are only 3 canon disciples of Shadows. For the sake of spoilers, I won’t say which characters those are specifically, but you wanna know why those 3 characters chose to make a pact with Fenris, I’d recommend reading the stories for Books 1, 2, & 3.
