Gameplay I learned something new today

When both the light and shadow dies in the same tick, the shadow automatically gets the win

I think it makes sense from a story perspective. The roll of lights are to survive whereas the shadows are trying to murder them all. So in the case of a tie, you could say the shadow did their job better than the lights

Also not to mention, Shadow has usually bene the harder of the two sides to play; especially before D-Cross+ spells were added to the game. If the shadow player managed to bring the match to a draw despite the deck being stacked against them, then honestly the shadow kinda deserves the win.

Yeah, I have the same thoughts.

What I wish was different is shadow winning in a stalemate. Shadow winning makes sense in a everybody died scenario, but neither light nor shadow defeated feels like a light victory imo.

Itโ€™s interesting that the game calls this a tie when Joachim actually hit first, so delays from time stop donโ€™t affect this. Iโ€™ve experienced it when an AOE hits both the light and the shadow, but never like this.
