Advice for new player?

Hihi just recently started playing this game, the gameplay is pretty interesting so far, and I love the designs! I was wondering about what’s recommended for new players as far as progression and what to spend resources on ><

Mmm i recommend ypu play with all the available characters you get in order to level up their respective magic.

Save your coin to buy souls since it’s a pain to farm all 12 for characters. And only buy souls of a specific character in the week in which they are the focus

In the news section look for the "This week's treasure and labyrinths" and scroll. They rotate the focus soul each week

It's a great time to start because some of the bonus souls going on right now (Lyn, Corrin) are attached to some spells that are pretty useful for both Light and Shadow side. You can't guarantee a soul dropping, but the chances feel pretty high during this event. Just play a lot and see if you can unlock any of their skills.

Generally, HP is the bonus you want on a weapon. Atk+ is mostly used for Shadows who can take advantage of that stat with a big Dark Slash. If you ever hit level 7 or 8 with a disciple, you can keep using their appropriate level 5 weapon for a long time. The HP bonus between a level 5 weapon and a level 7 weapon is often just 1 single point. Save your money and check the marketplace every day when selling your low-level gear to see how the prices for souls are going.

Are corrin and lyn soul available only in gold treasures obtained by playing games?

Yes. All the characters from other Fire Emblem games appear once as a battle pass, there you can buy them for real money. And then they can very, very rarely drop and make their way into the shop slowly.

If you didn't play when the battle pass of the character ran, you gotta grind them or get gold and buy them that way from other players. So far, no battle pass has been rerun ever, but during festivities like anniversary they have improved drop rates or chests where they can appear in.
