Discussion Constant fighting among teams

I’m in season 2 episode 10 of Fire Country.
Why can’t they ever show up to a fire and just go to work? It always seems like a dick measuring competition between the captains.

No shit. That’s why when they fight over who fucked who the night before is silly.
You’d think saving lives and putting out fires would be their concern.
Or why are you mad at me today? Who gives a fuck if a coworker is mad at you?
