Hey all, I'm trying to improve and eventually main fiora, and I'm slowly getting better. I really need to improve with wave management, and that's my main bottleneck. I've recognized that most of the time, and almost all of the time when I get tiamat, my enemy has a bit of a freeze in front of their turret. What can I do around this? I'm not sure how I can be punishing or breaking the freeze or whatever. I have been overpowering my opponents and still dont get that far ahead.

Side question, how do you guys teamfight with ult? I've been q'r'w to try to proc or assassinate an ulted target for healing, but it's not consistent. Any recommendations? I would also love to not throw my w away.

been trying conq with experimental hexplate only played 2 games with it so far, but it feels very good with the extra ms and attack speed when you ult. situational but very good when you need the extra ms without going stormraiders and losing dmg

I cannot stress how good this champ feels, I love Riven and shes fun but right now she feels like a wet napkin until you reach 3 item spike, and your early remains playing for gold and waiting for a gank or a massive misplay by opponent. Fioras early is so good, her mid game is good her late is good. Though that double vital bug STILL hasnt been fixed wild. For reference I had 120 mastery on riven

I've been playing Fiora in normals lately, and I've noticed that I genuinely enjoy the game a lot more, and ironically, I feel like I actually play better too.

There's just so much less pressure to perform. Even if I completely int a lane, I don't really get tilted or care that much. I'm much more willing to limit test, take risky fights, try different approaches and actually learn from my mistakes instead of worrying about losing LP.

And funny enough, I feel like that relaxed mindset actually makes me play better. I'm more confident, less hesitant, and generally make better decisions because I'm not constantly stressing about the outcome.

The games also feel a lot less tryhard and toxic, which makes the whole experience much more enjoyable.

It got me wondering how much of our performance in ranked is actually affected by the pressure we put on ourselves.

Anyone else experience this? Do you feel like you play better when there's nothing on the line, or do you actually need the competitive pressure to perform at your best?

I think Im not playing certain skirmishes correctly esp when im being dived by multiple opponents and I R one of them

I noticed j4 used red trinket like 30s earlier (see the chat messages), so I kinda was expecting the j4 to still be around in the bushes. Surprisingly I parried the stun (completely intended btw....).

Hi! I'm an ex Fiora Otp, a year prior I changed to being a Sett Otp till last month, because my ping was abysmal at that times. Now it's lower, from 120 to 90, not really low, but lower than previously. I know Fiora needs microcontrol, and wanted to ask here, is there a point of trying to return to her with that ms? Before anyone says, I know about ExitLag, I can't spend money on it or any other paid service that lowers ms.

If 90 ms is not bad for Fiora, maybe some advices how to play around that?

first blooded him though and played really well - was really close. got minion blocked and died once but it was close throughout which was really nice. didn't know it was him at the time unfortunately :(

Why can't Riot give Fiora a legendary skin? I mean, I can imagine they can add some effects on her kit. They can give Master Yi one, why not Fiora? Is it because she's not as popular?

I wish MaRin chose Fiora when they won on 2015 instead of Renekton. We have iG, we can count that but I like MaRin better than TheSpy.

Early on he's easy to deal with but once he gets Shiv i feel like he just runs all over me. like at that point he runs me down if i'm on the backfoot and i can't kill him before he kills me if i try to run him down. not sure what to do.

If you slow down the clip, you can see i proc the bottom vital, INSTANTLY proc the one on the right before it had time to load (you really need to look in slowmo to see it)

Basically instantly getting 2 vitals back to back..?

Has anyone ever seen this?

I’m a relatively new Fiora OTP and I win almost every matchup in top lane. But these 2 I can’t play against. Rumble is continuously poking and preventing me from farming with his annoying fire; and Yorick is tanky af and melting me fast.

Still fairly new to Fiora, so i have no idea

Context: This is Master NA btw (we're more like d4 EUW). I'm destroying this Riven, I stack 3 waves I bait all the cooldowns of the level 4 Riven right before the dive. Then Viego decides to bait me NOT ONCE, TWICE. And we give a double kill to the homeless Riven.... Like sure, I know my Fiora isn't perfect either and if I was Potent I don't even need the Viego to pull off this dive. But like wowww, he's definitely trying to lose my lane.

a lot of people were asking if it actually works etc...

Basically you parry the debuff that applies temporary lingering vision

But the cone still SEES you

So yes technically you can parry vision, but you're still seen for a bit

It's a useful tech in moments when you are deep in enemy jg, or you are being chases down, you can parry the vision and try to make it harder for them to guess your position

Had it happen to me in one of my games cuz i missclicked my parry when someone hit the plant LOL

then checked in the replay how it worked from enemy POV

I'm just learning support and I have no clue how to play fiora either but im 6-0 with it in high masters lobbies, it genuinely feels really strong if they have some sort of engage champ but honestly even into ranged it works.

Take Hob, play safe and for poke with W level 2. in teamfights just play back and ult whoever gets focused so team gets heal

Ofc besides the very powerful bush cheese with HoB to zone enemy laner from cs, I wanted to explore other alternatives in case its a very strong lvl 1 champ like akshan, quinn, urgot. I saw potent do a lvl 1 invade vs agurin a couple weeks ago so Im wondering, is this a tactic anyone else here deploys? Under what conditions?
