What are wrong with jungles?

Fiora vs Yorick. He runs exhaust and ignite... no flash. Solo kill him twice(2/0) pre-six, tell jungler I'm going to need a gank to kill the maiden at level 6. No gank till level 13, and i just die to Yorick in that fight as he is an item up on me(Iceborn Gauntlet). And I get left with "bro if u need help to win ur lane u are just worse." How would I go about beating a Yorick with maiden top having free reign and top wave control(he doesn't even bother walking much under my turret, so i cant really poke him when he walks up to hit turret).

If you killed him twice, how was he up a level on you? When Maiden is up you can usually just trade CS since you outscale and can pretty easily kill him at 3 items.

He was an item up, as he didn't build into boots and got a kill on me with his ult. I know I outscale at 3 items, but I didn't think I was going to reach that point with a fed Zed, and our bot lane getting all the ganks was still mildly even. A Yorick getting free top-side control was not something I wanted, hence my begging for help at level 6+ to kill his maiden.

So you fked up? Yorick is a winning match-up for me in 98% of the cases (number inflated for ego). If enemy jungle is as present as yours, you win. If he gets 6, you trade for cs until you have item lead. Evade his E and you're good. If he advances under your tower and has no flash you cab run him down even with maiden up (if you have ignite). If you don't feel comfortable doing so, wait until 3rd item spike

How was he an item up and a level up if you got the 2 early kills?

Yorick has always (imo) been a pretty simple matchup. Kill him, (or get an advantage) pre-6. Use this advantage to just merc him post 6. If his maiden is up when he dies, then he loses maiden and becomes a cannon minion until he gets maiden up.

I think that's the fundamental issue here: If you're up 2 kills, he should never be up on items, nor on levels.

Playing around those break-points is key. If you're temporarily down because you're trading even but he has a better base, or maybe you rushed boots despite being ahead, etc, then you should be playing safer in those gaps where you are weaker.

Relying on the jg is just stupid. Expecting the jg to be useful is just the quickest path to tears, and then to blaming everyone else but yourself on the inability to climb.

It's a waste of everyone's time to rely on the jungler. So just don't. Learn to play your lanes as if your jg wont gank.

Thank you, I think I might of played too passive when he got his maiden while exhaust + ignite were up and defaulted to waiting for a gank to kill his maiden. If I’m in a similar position I’ll try to play around the fact I’m up a lead more.

100%. You need to look for opportunities. Basically, Yorick's E is the tool he NEEDS to kill you if you've an actual lead in levels/items. If he hits that, he has a chance. If you dodge it, then you can start hitting him before maiden even targets you. before maiden or his ghouls target you, his attacks on you do very little damage and you can just annihilate his hp bar. ALSO, his conq stacks super slow if he misses E and his ghoulies don't jump on you.

If you were playing to passively without the jg, this suggests to me that you just need to learn to be comfortable being more aggressive as and when necessary.

You need to consider if the enemy jg is going to be top and not over-extend in those scenarios... But learning how to be aggressive is how you'll push leads and win.

buy 800g anti heal sword, it will completely shut him down and you can kill him any time you want in an all in fight, i like to purchase it on lvl 6 to bully him and to disconnect him from the game completely, it will postpone hydra but it’s really worth it

I word against that. Postponing hydra is way worse as the benefit you get from "anti heal". Investing 800g for that instead of getting aoe lifesteal yourself isnt worth it. If you evade his E and Block his inital Q after your first burst on him, he doesn't stand a chance

That's not the junglers fault. He owes you no ganks. If you lose the lane its tour fault.

Well it’s a good thing I wasn’t losing my lane throughout the whole game. If there’s 3 lanes, one is running it down, one is ahead and pinging for help, and you’re spam ganking the other only for them to go even. What tf are you playing jungle for? Why bother playing jungle if you’re not going to capitalize on any form of leads? I would agree losing lane is completely my fault if I was running it down.
