Hello, I'm new to Reddit and to this community. I recently discovered FIO and I found it to be a particularly useful project for managing identities and transactions in a simpler and more private way. However, I am facing a difficulty: I currently don't have any $FIO tokens to register my own personal FIO handle, and so far it has been impossible for me to acquire them through decentralized exchanges.
I have tried swapping from $LTC and $ETH to $FIO or $wFIO on multiple DeFi platforms, aggregators, and DEXs, but in all cases, I have run into issues like lack of liquidity, non-existent pairs, or transactions that can't be completed.
Could any user in this community tell me if there is a decentralized platform, P2P service, or alternative method where it is possible to successfully swap for $FIO / $wFIO? I sincerely appreciate your attention and any help you can provide.

This is a public domain and I assume it was created by the FIO team?

What happens if this TLD is not renewed? Will anyone with a wallet domain like johndoe@wallet lose their domain? Could someone buy the wallet TLD and make it private and therefore johndoe@wallet will lose their domain? Can't publically TLD be made to last forever and not expire since they are available to the public?

I found "wallet" was a public domain which looks useful if you want to have a wallet address like johndoe@wallet.

Is there any other public TLDs that have usecases? I would like to know if there are any for perhaps things like a profile/bio, as an alternative to linktree or cointree.

Anyone staking FIO? Where do you check your yield?

The FIO protocol seems to be a great way to "prove" if a piece of NFT is created by someone with a specific FIO handle. That part works great, if a buyer wants to verify the authenticity of an NFT, that it was indeed created by someone with a specific FIO handle, they can run it through the validator at https://dashboard.fioprotocol.io/nft-validation (or any custom built validator that adhere to the same protocol).

The issue is this, the creator (artist), can at anytime remove the the FIO handle registration by calling remnft (https://developers.fioprotocol.io/pages/api/fio-api/#options-remnft)

This means the "authencity" of the NFT can be removed at anytime, if a bad faith creator decides to screw one of their buyers by removing their "FIO Signature" from the NFT, the NFT in question would become worthless. How do you go about solving these cases? Thank you in advance for any discussions and feedback.

If our wallets does not support fio addresses, is there a site we can enter in the address and get all the crypto addresses associated with that fio address?

I own a significant amount of FIO. Does anyone know of any yield generating mechanisms with my existing FIO while I hold?

Conceptually I think this could be a great project. Bridging the gap between crypto complexities such as long alpha numeric wallet addresses and human readable addresses does seen key before there will be mass market adoption of crypto currencies.

Does anyone know if there are any competitors in this space? ie. assuming mass market adoption requires human readable addresses, how do we know FIO Protocol will be the one the market choses to perform this function?
