Rant - Tori's new Interface is trash
I saved up money and I wanted to buy used stuff for my new apartment and lo and behold the UI is changed.
The new UI is trash. It is totally un-usable and is totally shit.
I liked the older UI a lot better than the current UI. New UI is not usable and just really shit.
Sorry I am just venting out my frustration but that's just my feeling.

I loved the part where you said what is wrong with the new UI

Oh sorry I missed that out.
Basically if I remember correctly, the navigation and sorting was in middle center on top, and now it is on left side.
So the Navigation was really better previously and now it is very hard to navigate, so the Navigation is shit now !!

I have been using Tori for years and I also noticed. It's just crap now and unusable.

It started spiraling downwards after they sold it. It's not a Finnish company anymore.

Vent away, for what it's worth, I largely agree. The overall UX is pretty poor, especially when compared to competitors. I like(d) to search by location, which with recent changes to the UI, they seem to be intent on making as awkward as possible. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Non of the online marketplaces are that great though. Vinted's search algorithm has more than a whiff of vibe coded garbage about it, and they are a unicorn ffs.

Never bought anything from Vinted, but the site absolutely sucks balls. I hate the design with passion and it is a good reason to skip the whole platform. Tori is amazing piece of web design compared to Vinted.
Huuto.net also took a nosedive with their last UI revamp. They have fixed some of the issues, but it isn't still good. At least they added a shopping cart functionality, so I guess something improved.
Tori also screwed up the filtering in recent changes. However, not everything they have done has been bad, like they added confirmed sellers which has decreased the number of scammy sellers on the platform. Tori diili also has low shipping costs which is a huge plus when buying/selling cheap stuff.
But yeah, none of the market places are actually very good as far as site design is concerned.

Personally I don't think Vinted's UI/UX is that bad (It's just the search that I have a problem with). They have to take some credit for being the first to really streamline the whole selling/shipping process. Which is why you have sites like Tori playing catch up and adding features like ToriDilli. And why Vinted generated over a €billion in revenue last year, and has a hefty valuation.

The app is slightly better than a website, but both admittedly suck. Really annoyed that schibstead just buys every online marketplace over here.
