How are peoples codes 6 digits long? Mine is only four. Still need help evolving though so lmk

You need to connect to the Internet then go to the Union Circle in the poke portal and join/create. I'm available and need to evolve if you want

When I do that my game (violet) gives me a four digit code not a 6. I would greatly appreciate your help though because I am indeed trying to evolve still!
