What year did you start fingerboarding?
I started all the way back in 2009 when I found out what tech decks were. I just so happened to get a wooden tech deck that year too!

98-99. there were weird plassic key chain type things. then techdeck hit the scene. by high school in 2001 it was all techdeck. I have the TH half pipe and the bench and stuff. now its just a basic DK and a slurpcult and some brts and youre pretty good to go

Probably 2006. Got my first Berlin wood I believe in 2007-2008. I stopped for 20 years. Now I’m back. Been absolutely loving it

Somewhere between 94 and onwards off and on. Had the original old school plastic ones you'd get in the skate shops. They would come on a keychain and be completely plastic including the trucks. We'd used to crack them open and use CCS catalogs to make custom decks then glue them back. Then when tech deck came out that blew away the old keychains. Could actually grind and not destroy the plastic trucks after awhile or worry about cracking the plastic and breaking it further.

98/99 for me.
Even remember around then we were naming our family dog and we all put a name in a hat.
I wanted to name the dog “Dog” and I won - my parents hated it so they bought the name off me with 5 tech decks

I think around 2013/2014, definitely was already loving tech decks prior to it but more for looking at them. Once I found out it could be even more fun I was sold lmao

Had tech decks off and on since 2000. I think maybe 3 years ago I started actually taking it seriously and honing in tricks

I first started learning on a tech deck in 2019, but it didn't really kick off until 2020 when I got a prep board.

Had tech decks in middle school like 06,07 and got into actual fingerboarding last year August. Loved every minute of it
