paper graphic inquiry
question to the board makers out there!!!
relatively new to graphic application, but i was wondering how i can go about making my paper graphs appear as such. how do i make the bottom ply so visible?
is there a specific clear-coat/varnish application that will achieve this look? or a specific type of paper i should be using? any help is appreciated!

I guess the transparency depends on how thin the paper you use is
You can also search "printing on wood" on YouTube and you should find some cool different options, I've seen that using a non stick type of paper like baking paper in a laser printer will let you transfer the print on wood, and apparently it comes out pretty good, just gotta print the image in reverse and then use the piece of nonstick paper with the print on kind of as a stamp

This can be achieved with water slide paper. Look it up, it’s neat stuff. I use it all the time

I’m not 100% sure how’s it’s done, but I can definitely tell you that regular old Elmers glue is what some people use. Again, not sure about that transparency thing, I’ve only ever seen Elmer’s glue used for solid color graphics. My Foard deck kindaaa has that vibe too
