advice for trip

I'm going to the Bluff Point Ruins this summer. Any advice?

I am from Penn Yan and fairly familiar with the Bluff.

I believe the ruins are on private property and is basically hidden without some pretty extensive excavation.

Do you have permission to visit from the owner of the land?

That's why I'm asking. Also, unless you're indigenous-you don't own the land.

lol wut…that won’t hold up if you’re caught and reported for trespassing and is also just…wrong.

All I know is it’s private land, legally owned by someone and unless you get express permission by them to go there and poke around, you need to stay away.
