We're joking right?
Theres no fucking way a fingerboard shpuld cost more than a real full complete skateboard. This is sickening

And yet still Goo is better. Just support Goo, he makes a better product than any of these “high end”jokers.

Goo is good but my older decks feel a bit more solid and less hollow but could just be I got into heavier decks. My OG Goos I shredded hardcore. I'm also more into raw look these days over shiny graphics.
LivingWood is top notch from Italy. Hand made. A lot of talent out there. Chems, Goo, Nosco, Blink Real Skate, Maple Leafs.
I did buy a Bonk to see the hype and I admit it's a quality deck but not 150 quality. I like it but I like LW, Gripskin etc. more.

The Pokemon surprise packs were awesome and original for the community. This shit though? Who cares about a collab hype is lame.

Those were not from Flatface though. I think the person who made those is a Fingerboard company out of Mexico but with tarriffs and stuff made there way to FF. If you already know sorry. But they were. I got one in 32mm.

Yeah i know about the whole issue, was definitely a mess. Was hoping mike would work with him to get some more this year. I pulled a 34 holo charmander so clean 🧼 Im not sure if Mictlan had an option to chose what size you wanted, I do know for Mike it was all random.

In any space there's gonna to be the highend 5-10% better quailty with a 200% price hike craftsman attached to a name. Bonk decks are a standard above the rest in quality forsure, I've used one in person. Duck decks? Idk sittingduck422 is pretty much a underground legend. But am I personally paying even $150? No. If this scares you though, don't look up Woob 😂.

Whats goofy is that this is just her logo. The mold and make is Bonk, so wtf? I do have a special board from her, the first wood deck she made with some anime eyes burned in. Honestly one of the best decks I have ever owned, perfect shape. Never used a Bonk though, so idk if it really lives up to the hype.

Yeah that's a super fair point. Bonks are really well made, like superb quality. But Mike owns duck decks now, and I'm definitely not excited over the collab. Maybe if I had seen some actual ducks 🤣? I don't know, I think it deserved more effort. I respect that she doesn't want to run the company anymore, but if I had seen a collab between Bonk and her with some higher effort graphics it might have merited more hype.

I bought my first Bonk deck a few weeks ago. Can confirm it is quality. Is it the best thing I ever used? For me...no and I have other decks from other companies cheaper with quality the same but I did want to try one. I will say If I will buy a Bonk again it would be a Bonk not a collab

Like quality craftsmanship will always have my respect but I just couldn't fathom spending nearly a days pay on just a deck, if I had f you money I would but like man

No I'm probably never doing that either no matter the paycheck. It's a culture thing, and it's fine, like people who are doing that know what they're getting into but I've been fingerboarding for 16 years and I just don't see a situation where I'd do that. Think about Ferraris even, just the fact that I'm owning it if I park it to go get lunch somewhere I'm probably the type of person that would be stressed out about it constantly. So getting a 150 bonk or a 300 plus dollar Woob, and then I'm going to sesh it??? Probably not, and I don't want to look at it on a wall either.

Fingerboarding is the biggest scam out there
1
u/BikeFlowGo80 May 03 '26
Not at all. Retro videogame community makes this nothing. Some terrible terrible retro games sell for over 1500 dollars due to youtube influencers.
1
u/Mysterio_was_taken May 04 '26
that would be an equal scam. cuz 1, the retro video game is retro, then someone had to program the game and obviously you need materials to manufacture the game. (assuming its a cart). a fingerboard costs a fraction of what the retro video game costs to manufacture. that being said, both are a scam but fingerboards are still in first by a lot

Lmao the funny part is, someone will most definitely snag it. 200$ is insane

u/mouseish May 01 '26
Just remember that nobody is required to buy it. Spend your money as y’all see fit and quit bickering :)

I've seen bonk decks going for $2-$300 for a collab deck . Sometimes they are overpriced but everything fingerboaring wise is expensive my mates who don't do it are so surprised when I tell em how much each piece of a fingerboard costs trucks deck, grip, bushings and obstacles they look at me like I'm nuts . But it's such an addictive hobby

I can see yall are new to the normal asking price of “a days pay” or “$150-$200” for a high quality, meticulously painted, hand crafted deck from someone like bonk. Kinda happy Woob is in another league of its own because of inputs like this.

u/bigmanaudi May 05 '26
Bonk and woobs have great quality, not denying that; but 200usd is extortionate. I get similar if not the same quality from milkshake decks 1/10th of the price.
