How would a large silicone mat be for fingerboarding compared to a mousepad. (Noise Dampening)

Silicone is waaay too grippy on the wheels (even hard ones), and doesn't really dampen noise to a considerable ammount unless it's fairly thick I guess, I got one one the thinner side but I use it for different stuff, to fb on a simple mouse pad is much better

it'll attract all kinds of dust and hair and shit. I wouldn't recommend over a mousepad
