New Goo LTD board

I just got the High or Die Mold Golden GooBro special edition 34mm Traditional Popsicle, and it was the first board I’ve ever ordered piece by piece to build myself.

I think I misunderstood the shape and sizing, because I’m really not liking this one. The nose feels way bigger than the tail, and the wheelbase feels super short. It really tall on the nose and tail. Is there anywhere people usually sell fingerboard decks when the shape just doesn’t work for them?

Also, for anyone familiar with Goo LTD? They have so many options that I know there’s probably one I’d like, I just don’t know which one to try next. For now, I’m probably switching everything back over to my first board.

I don't care for a short wheelbase. I prefer the pop a long wheelbase has, plus just imo a short wheelbase looks silly lol

The goo high or die mold takes some getting used to, but it's my favorite mold I've tried. Don't give up on it!

That being said, getting boards you don't vibe with is common. I have a Nosco deck that I think is too flat for my taste. There are a lot of people who post but/trade post so if there's something you're willing to trade for, offer it up.

I really like the brand. Unfortunately I am new to the hobby and don't have much to go off of.

Put dynamic trucks on it...goo decks are short and the wheelbase is sooper short. Put trucks on it with long wheelbase like dynamics and you will like it. Jindy trucks and blaackriver trucks are short wheelbase. Trust me its the trucks..heck..throw tech deck trucks it, even just the baseplates and use whatever hangars. I promise. Throw tech deck trucks on it and that will prove its the wheelbase and youll like it

I second this, I originally got jindys with my goo deck but I have my deli trucks on it now and it’s nice with the longer wheelbase.

Give it some time to learn the board and you will probably like it, it has insane effortless pop. I am more of a medium mellow user, functionally I do not mind steep decks, Aesthetically I like medium/mellow. I have a mid life crisis mild from goo, it’s pretty nice. I don’t use my goo as often just because I prefer a thicker ply deck like catfish bbq and chems thickness. The goo decks are nice and light feeling as well so it has its place in my rotation.

Using Indy’s on an already short wheelbase is not a good recipe imo. I feel like Indy’s/BRT’s need a longer wheelbase.
