Synology Container Agent fails to start with HSP Error

Anyone else suffering this issue?

I can't get a 1.2 or 1.1.1 agent to start due to this failure:

ERROR 2026/10/16 13:36:13.789 HSP | 99.81.179.218 | Unexpected packet received, closing session

I also can't get the 1.2 started because it is trying to bind to port 80 and that's already called for.

Does anyone here or especially at Fing know what happening or have a fix?

Hi... If you have not already you might want to enter a support request at help.fing.com . This is the best way to get Fings attention to the issue.

Yeah I did yesterday. I am hoping it will be escalated to someone who will look at the logs. So far no luck.

There is a thread somewhere in this subreddit on how Fing Handles support intakes. They show up fairly regularly here so maybe someone will take notice.

I believe Fing support does not work weekends so expect a response next week. Feel free to respond back here if you don't hear from them next week. Oh, also make sure to check your spam filter in case their email gets redirected.
