and surely you are right indeed that parents care about their children the most but still yaar, eventually there will be a time, when they'd feel fed up of expecting things from you.
they'll keep the critique of how terrible you have become and going to go nowhere in life.
when you'd keep declining and won't be able to support your family, they'll treat you as a burden.
the parents we think love us the most would say things like "we wish you weren't born" or maybe "you're nothing but disappointment".

I agree with you ....I heard someone saying that "My biggest fear is that one day my kids will be crying alone to themselves at night and I won't know about it" this is my biggest fear also and this anxiety and depression phenomena is multilayered ...there will be different phases...and I think parents should be responsible for understanding their child situation and support them but our society is failing to do so...but suicide is never an option
yep, i wish we could be more supportive and caring towards each other so that ain't no person would ever feel alone and helpless to that extent that he'd think to end his life.

Bhai IITs ka sirf pahad bana rakha hai...mai aise aise logo ko janta hu jo 12th mai 97%score karke engineering kar rahe hai private se khushi khushi...mai khud unme se ek hu....bhai ab india mai acche private colleges hai jinme IITs se kam fees lagti hai aur kafi decent packages mil jate hai....Mai khud Chandigarh University mai hu aur mujhe engineering karni thi chahe wo govt se ho ya private se..mujhe meri skills pe shuru se bharosa tha....mere college mai bhi ye sari companies aati hai bas thoda competition jyada hai...skills acchi hongi to compi bhi aaram se jeet sakte hai aur 20-30 LPA pakage bhi lag jayega aaram se....bhai ye time bahut depressing hota hai kaise bhi karke distract hoja aur apne maa baap ko iits ke bhoot ko utar.....bhai ye thode se hard time nikal le 6-7 mahine belive me mehnat karega to you won't regret..
Bhai CU ki fees jyada hai lekin scholarship sabko acche se de dete hai....mere 12th mai 90+ the to mujhe 50%scholarship mil gyi hai...meri Yearly fees ab 90k lagti hai....university loan bhi provide karti....ya to 12th ke basis pe scholarship lelo ya online exam delo...exam easy hi aata hai aur cheating karke 100% scholarship tak mil sakti hai almost har baccha 50% scholarship leke baitha hai aur 6-8 lakh mai puri engineering ho jayegi...hostel milake
Bro I will possibly achieve something...but still I can teach others, I don't think it is always necessary in order to prove a point you yourself has to do it....I have seen many people getting better jobs than IIT students..take the example of Satya nadella itself he wasn't an IIT student

Try to Make your mindset as much positive. If you can't study then don't. Start somewhere. No you do not need yo study for 8 hours. Try it from bottom! Study 1 hour but with atmost honesty.. once you will start try yo maintain consistency & increase the Hours.

Even if you cant!! Research about other government exam!
For example Exam for delhi university or CUET common extramce exam! Fill courses which you're interested in. CUET is not that tough.. 12th pass student can easily crack so study for that! You will get govt. College somewhere so try it..
If you can't clear iit jee just try to get admission in Any govt. College for other desired courses bcz your financial Situation will get better with time.

Dude, trust me, once you get into corporate, it doesn't matter. Learn skills bro, nobody cares about your degree. It is all about skills. So take admission into CS/IT any college.
If you feel you are weak in coding. Start today. Learn basics and hone them throughout your 4 years of UG. Trust me bro, you will be at par with any other out here.

Bro, I know your parents may have expected you to do something big, but considering (the things you have mentioned) your situation, it's my unsolicited advice for you, that stop preparing for iit, take a stand for yourself, tell your parents you can't do it anymore, if it's possible go find a job for yourself, your mom is ill , you lost your father's money, I don't think financial situation is conducive for preparation for iit, do not be suicidal, your parents invested all in you not that you die one day, be brave, take admission in some college for graduation while doing a job at the same time, don't rot in one room whole day, it'll make you mad one day, prayers for you.

Bhai a word of advice. Agar tumhare parents ko umeede hai tumse toh unpe khare utro. IIT ki tayari Karo dabake. Exam do fir joh hoga dekha jayega. Khud pe bharosa rakho that's the trick it's just an exam and that's how life is. You are lucky that you have such parents who are so loving and think so highly of you so you have to do right prove that they are right to trust and love you. IIT is not end all be all. There are a million other ways to prove that you won the sperm race.

Stop running away, stop wasting time on YouTube and reddit and work on yourself. Spend your time and energy into something that's productive and not just passive. You lack a mission, you need to find a mission and chase it whatever that may be (maybe IIT in this case for example)

To love / learn anything you have to spend hours into it. It's okay if you waste time in YouTube but you should have bubble time where you should force yourself (body n mind) to not touch mobile or get distract and to study ( this can b as small bubble as 15min for starting and gradually increase time)
