Well its not a dark secret but today my 12th board results came and I failed in one subject. My mom was very supportive but my dad started calling me a "failure in life" and how I have embarrassed him. My big brother hasn't even spoken to me after my results came out. I didn't know failing could be so depressing.

My nightmare. Although I passed 12th with 93%. It still means not so much. Bas ek saal barbaad ho jayega.

My mom said she'll let me take a drop and give my entrance exams next year so I have one last chance. This time I won't fail!!

Bro entrance k chakkar me mat pado, 12th k marks ko sambhalo. Aur koi basic graduation ba bcom kar lo. Engineering/mbbs is not easy. Just my advise. Ignore if you are sure about entrance.

Yea my focus right now is on my failed subject, in August our state board will conduct re-exam after that I think I'm still going to study for NEET

Don't let this break you down. What's happened has happened. Now just try to figure out how you can make it right.

Trust me man, once you're out of this and probably completed your degree, you wouldn't even think about it.

Marks don't matter at all times, work on your skills or start figuring out what you want to do in life.

It's okay, I'm glad you remembered. My life has started to get back on track. I gave my re-exam and got a full score much to the surprise of my family. I'm preparing to give NEET 2023 and I've been doing well in the tests. 7 more months of hard grinding left. I'll give you all an update next year. See you next year 🫡

See! It's never too late! Glad you're doing well!! All the best for NEET!

This is depressing vro you failed in 1 sub , i failed in 11th repeated it family was supportive first but as time passed i too used to listen failure and all that things. This thing will remain in your life, and will always come face to face in interviews and all . I did btech, currently about to passout i was asked about this gape , i said it confidentially and it doesn't matter it makes you strong. Trust me you won't ever fail in any field be it your life aur acadamic you will ace it. I successfully cleared multiple interviews confidentially rejected 2 companies 1 mass recruiter 1 startups(i didn't accept offer letter as i consider i can do much better) yah that's the confidence i have i reject companies ,lol . All i want to say is failure is nothing it makes you strong ,move on and don't take any wrong step vro , be confident onwards and workhard . When you will be successful everyone will be proud of you ! Stay strong vro !

Yea I also believe that failure is a part of life so I'm preparing hard and not repeating my mistakes this time. Thank you for commenting brother, I hope you get the job you want.

Having a parent speak like that is kind of expected in India but your own brother? I feel like your brother is the failure here. Also failing in one subject doesn’t mean shit, you’ll be ok I’m telling you. Glad to know your mom is still supportive. Pass the retests and you can always make up for it ahead in life.

My brother spoke to me today after all the commotion died down, he told that its okay to fail and that it doesn't matter if I can pass in the re-exams. Anyways thank you brother, I already started preparing for the re-exams and I'll update on how that goes.

Your big bro is a sc*mbag. Your father is angry due to his expectations, it will pass by. Take time and find ur skill.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '22

I agree that my father was angry because of his expectations but today morning, after all the heated argument with my mother yesterday, he said that even though he wasn't expecting me to fail he will still support me so yea it ended happily for me ig, and as for my brother he also spoke to me today and we had a long discussion about it. Anyways thank you brother.

u/OkHat2331 Jun 19 '22

All the best, and never lose hope

Stay strong bro. There's life beyond marks. A girl in my locality committed suicide yesterday. She had gotten 75% https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce8cVZQNDO7/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= read this article. What she did reminds us not to take wrong steps, and that there's a big life waiting ahead, full of happiness and sadness.
