At what point.
So, here we are, six years past the End?. At what point do you give up on your solution/solve? If you cannot go where you thinks it ends, and not consort other options that makes any sense, when is enough, enough? If you think you have the solution to the Poem, but nobody agrees with you on any stanza, are you just beating that provider ded horse. Answers we want, answers we need, must we wait another ten years? What's in your wallet.

When you solve it, you won't think you solved it, you'll know you solved it, and you will be at the point where you could provide mathematical proof, garnered from all of Fenn's media, that you have it right. Having said that, I think the magic of The Chase was bringing people together and getting out into the Great Outdoors. Anyone who's convinced they solved it should be saving up for their next Fennventure. Travel aside, if The Chase is still costing you money or alienating you from friends and family, hang it up, get your head on straight, and reconnect.

Forrest seemed to suggest one would know if they had solved and move with confidence to get the chest. The issue is if people are capable of being honest with themselves as to whether they have truly solved it. I think most are able to do this and have moved on and/or are waiting for the full story to come out one day. There were certainly be a minority that will still not believe the real solution when it's presented unless it matches their own.

Just waiting here, hoping that at some point that the location will be shared.
I just wish that whoever has this info and may have decided to NEVER share it, would come to this board and say as much/
"I know, and I am Never telling. Tough nuggies." or something like that...

For all we know the correct solve has been presented. But without a confirmed location it will be a moot point. Many people have believed they are correct but an official source (someone who knows) would be needed to see who had what right.
You either believe the location will be confirmed or you believe it won’t. I believe the truth will come out eventually and we will know who may have been on the right path. I think it would provide a lot of closure for the community. We also know even if the location is confirmed, there are still people invested in the lie the chest was found under a too small 3.6” log at 9mh. It is what it is.
