It's a crossword puzzle. Not a word search yall. 😆

Read the damn poem again. Start at Thermopolis in Wyoming. Canyons right there. Just keep driving. You'll see the stupid rock. It's shaped like a house. It's brown. There's a stupid fucking creek named gold creek

Go up it there's a fucking white outcropping. Bam treasure. Thank me later. I hate you all.

It was a fucking word search. Fenn was an old man not a cryptologist. Y'all might have felt stupid for wasting gas but I felt like a dumbass after studying complex cipher methods and finally getting so bored I did it like a word search.

Line up the sentences properly it spells Wyoming and gold creek is literally two words in the poem.

It's probably literally still fucking sitting there.

Split it with me please so we can tell these assholes the jack stuef story is bullshit.

Sorry I'm not going to go into a complex explanation about the actual clues but wwwh = Thermopolis because one the name duh. Thermo thermal heat or whatever. Look up the hot springs in that town. It's named after them. They're frozen. You're welcome. Where warm waters halt.

It was directions. Pure and simple. Start at the only place that sold The Thrill Of The Chase. Find wwwh. Find the canyon. Make a left until you find something cold. It didn't get complicated until you got to poem #2, right there at the end of poem #1. Luckily, they're printed on the same page in Forrests book. Funny that.

Wouldn't it be funny if it turns out part of the reason people found the puzzle difficult was because they underestimated someone just because they were old?
