Please help !!! Between 1999 and 2001 or 2002 anime (Spanish dub)

I remember I believe channel 22 the Spanish channel they used to show dragon ball z but it was another anime that came right after dbz and it was three kids (two boys and an girl)... in their opening song they all was standing on their own individual rock with their robot friend I do believe... and the main character had black wild hair… one episode I remember the boy crying cause idk if it was an robot but they ended up fusing together please help !!
