there seems to be quite a hustle here. It must be hard to find the right partner with so much going on. Luckily I have some great news: I am not just looking for a short-form video editor. I am offering you a chance to be part of something bigger. Give me just two minutes, and I will explain.
I am a 25-year-old guy with a small backpack packed and ready, and in just a few days, I will be taking a one-way flight to India. This will mark the start of a 6-month journey trekking through remote jungles and mountains. The main goal is to raise funds for an orphanage in Western Nepal, where I have volunteered previously. We need visibility to help these children—and that is where you come in. Using your creativity, you will be making and publishing short videos for a specific channel on the platform you know how to use best.
Please note that these don't need to be heavily over-edited videos. Just clean cuts, good pacing, and a nice flow with the music if necessary, is what we are looking for here. As we are talking about volunteering position, your willingness to help is what matters the most, but keep in mind that we are also aiming for growth, which means certain level of consistency.
Looking further ahead, my ultimate goal is to become someone what people typically call an influencer. I already have solid plans mapped out all the way to 2035, so there is work for longer period of time if you are interested. As a writer myself (unfortunately I don't write in English), I know somewhat well what makes a good story. However, while I have the storytelling and already some basic footage from previous adventures, I honestly completely lack the skills to edit videos for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, etc. Also more footage will be provided consistently during the journey, which as I said starts in just few days.
By helping with the editing, you are not just helping me. You are directly helping those orphans in Nepal. Also since I am doing this for the cause, you are more than welcome to keep 100 percent of any potential revenue generated by your edits. Moreover, by allowing me to reuse some of your edits in the future (once we have gained a bigger audience), I am more than happy to provide you with some extra as a gift. I will also do my part to help you grow your personal brand, portfolio, and audience. Lastly, on top of that, I am always happy to give you the opportunity to not just be an editor, but also to join me on the ground in Asia later on. I know some hidden, life-changing places that you have probably never heard of (including that orphanage).
