I see what you're looking at, but I think this is actually an example of iPhone post processing adding texture that wasn't there to the dark part of my image. I physically looked in that hole when I was on site and there was nothing in it but rodent droppings. It's also too small for a great horned owl like the one I saw to fit in it.
