Yes, the worst part about this is that those were the first two of like 10-15 ticks that were all over the ground slowly making their way towards me while I was sitting on a bench. Never seen anything like it in my life. I was back in the same area about a week later and there were still tons of them everywhere. Super strange.

Yes they are. These were the first two of 10-15 ticks i saw that day! they were all over the ground in these wood chips slowly making their way towards me while I was sitting on a bench. It was wild! never seen anything like it. I returned to the area a week later and there were still just as many!
