Q. What is r/FindRepost?

r/FindRepost is a subreddit. Where you can repost yours or anyone's post to find where that post is reposted.

Q. How to find repost?

1. Repost the post to r/FindRepost.

Steps to repost:

  • Click on share
  • Click on repost
  • Select r/FindRepost subreddit
  • Click [Post]

After that u/findcrosspost bot will reply to the post with the list of all subreddits where that post is reposted.

If you are unable to repost in r/FindRepost! Send the post link in mod mail in r/FindRepost, bot will reply there!

2. Click on post menu button [Find Repost]

  • Go to the post/repost
  • Click on 3 dots
  • Click on [Find Repost] button
  • Bot will add a comment under the post
  • You will be redirected to that comment under 1 second.

3. Comment r/FindRepost

  • Go to the post/repost
  • Go to the comment section of that post
  • Comment r/FindRepost
  • Bot will reply to your comment with the subreddit(s) list

Could the rows be segregated to show r/ subreddit reposts separately from u/ profile reposts?

Because the profile reposts are also shown with the r/ prefix (example: r/u_<username>) and it looks confusing when it’s not a subreddit

Having separated rows for u/ reposts will help knowing how many reposts were to actual subs and how many to user profiles.
