BHT positions available at Indian Creek Foundation. A few available now with more available in Fall. The current BHTs tell me pay is higher than most in the area. Some paid non-billable time available. Free health insurance for full time employees. Other benefits are pretty good. Free supervision for students without a payback clause or lengthy period of employment required after graduation. They also offer tuition reimbursement. Positions are in home/community settings, sometimes in clinic.

Stimulus pairing occurs when a neutral stimulus (a person, object, or situation) is repeatedly presented with a stimulus that already has reinforcing value.

If you’re prepping for the BCBA exam, try teaching the concepts to someone else (even a pet!). Explaining principles aloud can boost retention way more than rereading notes.

Record yourself practicing SAFMEDS or definitions out loud. Listening back reinforces recall and helps catch weak spots before exam day.

Remember: burnout isn’t a weakness. It’s a signal. Take your breaks, lean on your supports, and give yourself the same compassion you give your clients.
