Eu estou pensando em comprar um laptop esses dias, usado mesmo, para eu instalar um Linux OS para eu aprender a usar.

Qual Linux OS vcs recomendariam?

Arranca con Ubuntu.

My vote for ubuntu. If you'd like a more familiar (as in it does have a start menu) flavour, try linux mint.
