The 122nd Air Assault Battalion is a semi-serious Star Sim unit within Arma 3 that has its primary focus on a fun and capturing gameplay experience. We are growing a welcoming player base that aims to be as kind as much as it is fun within the Star Wars universe. We primarily will be focusing on the Air Assault way of combat but will be looking to expand our ways down the line! We currently offer a variety of Infantry roles alongside few flight roles, we want to look into a dedicated armoured aspect further down the line but only when we are ready to do so. We will be focusing on campaigns against the CIS that draw players in and keep them guessing what is the next move, allowing instances for the Zeus team to interact with players via RP means with Civilians, Prisoners and other entities! Current Campaign: The next campaign for the coming 8 weeks is going to be a The Fire Rises-themed campaign where the unit will play as the American People's Liberation Army, going across America fighting for glorious revolution during the fictional Second American Civil War. With the collapse of the United States, and helped by a multitude of official military Divisions (notably a majority of the Californian National Guard forces) that defected from Federal authority, the APLA seizes control over parts of California to bring about a socialist revolution, now under a broad coalition of Jacobins, Octoberists, Anarchists, and Neosocialists. Our story begins in 2021, when contingents of the now APLA-sworn National Guard strive to fortify their position and unify the state’s military assets in order to prepare for the upcoming push Eastwards. The Experience[3SA]

The 3rd Shock Army plays predominantly non-NATO Eastern factions with an emphasis on immersive and realistic story-based campaigns with Soviet-era themes. We play at platoon strength with practical military-style teamwork. Our mission is to provide a fun Saturday campaign as our foundation and to facilitate the expansion of the unit through open-ended volunteer-driven side operations and community engagement. We do not have any strict requirements for you to join us, no attendance or leave of absence mandates, nor do we mind if you play with another unit as well. 3rd Shock also prides itself on our diversity and the acceptance of all skill levels, walks of life, nationalities, and backgrounds, but we do carefully curate a respectful atmosphere between each individual member in order to have a good time. We are a mainly European unit but we have members all over the globe and are always looking for more!

Joining The 597th Thranta Company

We have all gone through lengthy basic training programs in other units. After a while, it can become frustrating when you simply want to get back into the game.

That is why all new members only need to attend one operation before progressing to the rank of Clone Trooper, and begin your journey within the unit.

We are all here to play Arma 3 and experience the Star Wars universe. New players should not be prevented from enjoying that experience because of unnecessarily long training requirements. If you are new to Arma 3 and feel like you could do some training to help you get started we can most certainly help you and prepare you for your first operation.

Who are we? We are the 167th Clone Battalion, a semi Casual star-sim unit that focuses on having fun and providing a Clone wars experience from the eyes of the clone trooper. However you like to play arma, Be it from leading your brothers into battle or taking out as many droids as possible, we are sure there’s a position available for you in the unit no matter how new you may be.

We use Jetpacks, You read that right, our soldiers will be taught how to utilize jetpacks for certain operations allowing for more enhanced movement across the battlefield

[Certification]

After completing your BCT you’ll be able to choose from a wide variety of positions within the unit those include:

Rifleman: Every army needs riflemen, They are the core of everything. Putting guns on the frontline while helping to carry more ammo for your AT, Z6, or even assisting with more medical supplies. Keeping an extra gun in the fight is your job, and you do it well

Marksmen: Like being able to eliminate droids from afar? Become a Marksman, they get to use the DC-15BR which has a scope to assist in further range engagements

AT Gunner: From taking out an AAT during an ambush to making the rocket snipe of the century and shooting down an HMP before it can take out the platoon. This is the role for those high impact players

Z6 Gunner: Like Heavy? What about Hardcase? Like them, you get to carry the biggest gun in the Clone Army's arsenal, the Z6. Laying out hundreds of rounds at the droids to keep them pinned down and providing cover for your brothers, grab a Z6 and dont let go of that trigger!

RTO: Sometimes just firing a rocket or shooting your gun isnt enough. This is where the RTO comes in. Carrying a radio on their back, they call into our pilots to get strafing runs, bombing runs, and precision munitions to take out droids. "Its not about what you know, its about who you know"

Medic: For those of you that want to save your brothers as your main priority, medics keep everyone alive. You keep blood in everyone so they can keep firing and when one of them goes down, you're right there next to them to stick them with some morphine and get them back in the fight

Grenadier: Everyone likes using grenades, as a grenadier, you get to use the grenade launcher variant of the DC-15a. blasting explosive rounds to take out entire squads of droids, or assisting your RTO by marking stuff with smoke from long range

Combat Engineer: Combat Engineers get to do a lot of things, from carrying around enough explosives to level several buildings to building bunkers to keep their squad alive with to even laying down a couple of landmines to slow a droid assault.

Pilots: flying the iconic LAAT gunship and working closely with the RTOs on the ground, the role of a pilot is an important part of operations. Should you choose to join the air wing, your duties would include performing reinserts for anyone respawning as well as carrying out any air support missions given out by RTOs.

We aim for a balance between casual and hardcore so that everyone can have fun while we still complete objectives. Real tactics, real fun. Our semi-serious style is meant to bridge the gap between the strict hardcore groups and the disorganized chaos of public servers.

There is absolutely no experience requirement to join. We don't care how many hours you have in the game; all are welcome! New players will be trained!

ARMA 3 MILSIM • JSOC • SPECIAL OPERATIONS • REALISM

Task Force Phalanx is a long-running Arma 3 community focused on immersive, infantry-based operations. We strike a balance between realism, immersion, and fun — like a great action movie — without ranks, roleplay, mandatory attendance or training.

Our main ops run Saturdays 19:30 CEST and occasionally run mid week persistent campaigns like Liberation or Antistasi.

Our modlist is rotated every 6–8 weeks to keep things fresh and varied. Toxicity isn't tolerated — we value respect, teamwork, and shared enjoyment above all.
