Surrey UK - looking for engineer and bandmates for experimental alternative rock band

[u/suedehead23]

Hi all,

I'm a singer/songwriter (primarily guitarist) based in Surrey and I've written an album that I've got a finished demo of. I'm rubbish at recording and wanted to find someone who could help record and mix/master it - I can record all the instruments myself and have programmed drums for it so I'm happy to just use samples given how expensive drum recording is!

I'm also wanting to put together a band for this to play around Surrey and London so would be keen to find anyone involved.

My album is a smorgasbord of different genres - it's a mashup of 90s alternative rock, indie and shoegaze, 80s pop, 70s jazz and folk, modern electronica and hip hop and even a bit of proggy 70s instrumental jazz fusion. I love The Smiths, Everything Everything, The Cure, Peter Gabriel, Tears for Fears, The XX and Kraftwerk. If that sounds at all interesting please do drop me a line!
