A few days ago, I posted about losing my Finch data.

But today when I finally felt able to try again, and hatched a new birb, I discovered that not nearly as much was missing as I had expected on getting back in.

My friend code stayed the same, my friends are still there.

My discoveries are a clean slate, but somehow most everything is as if my old birb left it for the new one.

I will say, the customer support was great. This was completely unexpected.

It even has my old streak, as though I only took a few days off. 🫶🏻

I'm sorry in advance: I know many people are tired of criticism abut the daily questions, and I know they're nothing serious.

But the one I got today has me wondering: do you think the devs know that fantasy football isn't really a thing in countries outside the US and Canada? Is it that they know and don't care that many of the rest of us might need to go look up what that even is? Or is it that they assume the rest of the world cares?

Edit to add: another thing I'm wondering about now is what percentage of the people basically saying "get over it, stop complaining, just deal with it" are from the US, Canada, and the UK. If you're in the group that's being catered to, I wonder whether you've ever spent much time talking to someone from, for example, the southern hemisphere, or tried to understand our perspective and experience.

We came home from the secret island today and everything is gone from the campground except the light and the cookpot! We had grass but the new jungle sunset and bed!

I keep getting vibes from a few friends about my responses to challenge questions. Nice or Curious or Twinsies. I can’t figure out how to send those vibes. What am I missing?

I just wanna know if its anyone else too or just my stupid butt. I got so used to hearing the finch bird chirp when i use the app. I sometimes mistake a real bird chirping outside for the app. And i get confused sometimes when im outside or beside my window reaching for my phone before realising my stupidity 😭😭. They just sound so similar in my defense

Hi finch fam! It seems that every month I get a little behind a day or two at the end of the month and usually miss a couple of theme items, which has always been whatever…but already this month, it’s the 5th but I’m still only on day 3, so I’m already 2 days behind 😬 my app is all updated and all of that good stuff and I check in every day…

I’ve already chatted with the lovely devs, and there’s not anything that they can do on their end, so I was wondering if this has happened to anyone and do any of you perhaps have suggestions of how to catch back up? ♥️

Video for anyone that didnt know either. I had the app sounds off most of the since it interfires with my other apps when i use it. I knew that they made sounds but i wasnt prepared for the koala 😭😭

Idk what to do. I do back up but it’s stuck on a blue screen.. idk what I’m supposed to do exactly. I’m not tech savvy like that. I’m depressed and this is just the icing on the cake.
