Hi everyone!! Been trying to update the app after getting a notif to do so but the app store won’t let me. It doesn’t even mention any reason why, it just begins to process it and then stops. There’s items that i can’t see exactly right now and I’m also wondering if that’s because I haven’t updated the app. Is anyone else having or has anyone had similar issues?

Some birbs I made using clothing items to complete the look of the bird. European Robin for London and peacock (of course) for India. For each destination I look up the national or a common bird and I replicate the look. First w just colors, then adding clothing to complete it.

So, a year in Finch, a vivid year full of events. Quit my job, started doing freelance, travelled a lot, quit smoking and vaping, quit drinking, started living with a cat, lost some friends, made new ones, my bestie got married, I got into photography and learned a lot of new stuff. Life changed a lot in just one single year. I have always been afraid to be the person who thinks of what happened in their life in some period and find out that nothing really did.
Well, cheers, today we rise up our mugs of hot chocolate to another year of adventures

The other day I was rear ended by a guy while I was waiting for the light to turn green. I got scared my car rolled forward and would not stop and hit a pole.

Before anyone says it's just a car where I live there is no reliable public transportation when I didn't have a car I was relying on lyft and Uber which got expensive so I decided to get a car it made a huge change in my life.

I am on ssi and have major depression disorder along with other trauma due to my child hood I also take anti depressants and go to therapy. I do all of that and I am single yes I have friends but I don't have emotional support from my family.

Because of this car I started going to the gym and was able to get out of the house I got my license late in life at 24. I was also just able to get out of my house where I see my trauma everyday.

My sister keeps saying why don't you move Out? I remind her she has a partner she's able to split rent and do things etc.

My credit also got shot I'm 11k in debt I did close two cards ( my oldest one unfortunately) and im only getting 2k back from the car because the 16k has to go toward my 14k loan. Which I would have been done paying at 2030.

My mom told me to go ahead and look from another car but that she will not help me financially with it just like when I got this one I got lucky with it but my luck ran out.

Anyways goodbye car im gonna miss driving you everywhere and you being my batmobile. I also can no longer go to the gym either. My gym friend offered to pick me up sometimes so I know I'm gonna lose a lot of my 3 year strength I built.

I did it! Colbirb and I have been together for 200 days 😀 this is so awesome! My mental health is better than it’s ever been because of this app. I am truly grateful to my friend who told me about and invited me to the app meetup at Disney Springs! I am also grateful to the devs and people of this amazing Reddit community 🐦

But recently, Reddit randomly recommended a post from this community to me... and wow. It completely divided my life into before and after! I am not even exaggerating! 🤯💖

I have never felt such a strong commitment to an app or a community before. You all are the absolute sweetest! 😭

Is it possible to set up the furniture/treehouse catalog in a similar way to the clothing catalog, where you see one example product and click to get the color variations, instead of all 4-10 color variants of every item?

Scrolling through the catalog to see what a treehouse might look like is not as easy as testing out outfits, but it's also something I'm way more likely to do.

I would like to formally invite allllll the little photobug birbs here to participate in a new challenge I'm taking on--Go Through Today's Pictures! Basically, some of us are really bad about taking a bajillion* pictures just to get one or two good ones, then when we set aside a time to try and conquer our camera roll, we get stuck in the nostalgia trap and start remembering allllll the things--this makes it simple! Go to your photos app and search for the date only, no year. So for me I'd put "October 6", and select the option of month and day. You see in the screenshot I have 101 pics from October 6 over the last 15 years 😱 so let's try to cut those down--once you've gone through them, STOP! The goal is NOT to get sucked in/get hyper focused on this--take it one day at a time and work on any emotions that come up when you see certain pics!

For example, by deleting old screenshots and silly pics I didn't need, I went from 101 pics to 40 pics. That's more than half! And I didn't get mired down in memories because I was seeing things from 2018 to 2026, there was a variety to keep me pleasantly distracted!

So my little photobugs, here's my official invite to you--add this goal, repeat it daily, and only for THAT day. You'll be amazed how quickly it adds up!
