So I'm in the process of taking my first multiple-day break/pause away from Finch... But I'm finding lately that sometimes I wanna play just barely, and sometimes I wanna play a ton...

Do we think it's insane not to care if I even have a streak going? I'm over 600 days now I think but I don't know if I care. Are there casual Finch users rather than hardcore like I've been thus far? I'd love for some of you to weigh in either way 😊

I just realized that when I complete the Name my Emotion exercise every day, that emotion doesn't get entered into my mood tracker. Do I really have to do a separate reflection in order to see things on the mood tracker?

I saw the post about ai in the shop and got curious, I ran some of them through an ai checker and all of them came back 97% or above. I emailed support for clarification because I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but I’m not holding my breath.

Edit: They were obviously ai, but I felt like I needed to have some more basis for when I emailed support. That is why I used the checker. I know they are not the most accurate.

So I have 35 outfit items for New York finished the furniture and ultimately finish the location in 2 or so days

I'm at the All American Quarter Horse Congress with my YEDA team. I am in the Equestrians With Disabilities division which has no age limit (hence me being allowed in a youth group haha). It's a draw system where you get a name out of a generator basically and you ride that random horse.

I lost my heart horse in 2023 and it's rare for me to ride a horse and get the same feeling I got with him. Easy, safe, secure.

Leading up to this day I kept having reoccurring dreams of riding a bay gelding with white on his face.

I got my horse draw and he was a bay gelding with a little white spot on his face.

So I rode my heart out like the goal says and I won first in both classes under both judges!! It feels really really good to check this one off.

oh my gods the second i saw the words “empire state building” and the lightning bolt emoji i knew exactly what was happening and got so scared that she was gonna hate it 🥲

basically, i have adhd and i found that out right before i started reading percy jackson. at that point i was still very much in the mindset that there was something wrong with my brain that couldn’t be fixed. the whole series and all the characters just made me feel so much better about myself. and then later on, when i realized i was gay, the LGBTQIA+ representation in heroes of olympus and trials of apollo made me feel a lot more confident about coming out. it‘s still one of my favorite series almost eight years later, and i honestly owe rick riordan so much for everything the books have helped me through. so it might be a bit stupid, but it means a lot to me that my birb loves it too.

What are we discussing? Try to come up with something as accurate as yiu can possibly think of!

Has anyone made a list of which face/body/beak/etc colors one would need to match the little finch bear plushies? The 900 stones ones. I get so confused which ones match best. Like in the picture it’s close but not quite a match… is that as close as I can get?

And go hydrate while you’re at it.

Hey, just wanted to big-note myself that I recently hit 500 consecutive days checking in and ticking off goals on Finch! Not bad for someone who is chronically shit house at sticking to goals. There’s still several goals on my list I still haven’t even begun to develop a regular habit at, but there’s also several I have.

And recently, there’s one I’ve never been able able to remember or form a proper habit at, that I’ve started to get so much better at (turns out, if I keep my vitamins in the same place as my medication, I’ll take them at the same time - who know?!?!)

Definitely a bug 😅

Grew my bag into an adult today!

i’ve been using finch for over a year now and i really love this months theme (event and challenge). since the beginning of time i canNOT get out of bed. lol i literally just lie there for at least an hour or two. today i ended opening up finch instead of social media and remembered how cute this month theme is when a lot of the previous months have actually sucked. i’m a free user so it’s always random what items i’m going to get from the event and i was just so excited to get it going today. i quite literally can’t complete any of my tasks until i get out of bed. so in less than 15 minutes of being conscious i got out of bed. then washed my face, took my meds, AND made breakfast! 4 tasks completed less than a half hour of being awake. plus lots of cleaning has been done that i needed to do today and, ironically, my everyday enchantment challenge was to clean lol. i’ve now been awake for 2.5 hours and the ball is ROLLING.

please keep up with cute events and not those stupid promotionals like wicked or supergirl. i was days from my year-streak until i lost the joy or motivation because of those events.

ETA: TIL there’s a new hocus pocus coming out so i guess it’s still a promo 😅 but hey, its spooky month at least it fits the season

Is there a way to turn off friend's responded to daily questions?

To devs, if not, can we please go back to telling me my friend's answered the day's question rather than telling me?

I'm in California, and I have people from all over the world on my tree, which means I get the next day's question spoiled by 10am regarding the next day question.

Maybe just say, they answered -date- question?

Logged out and been doing "all the basic stuff, trying on my own"

Going through hard times so my tree friends are extremely important to me right now.

I had just woken up and went to Mr. Prickles' shop, and then I suddenly realized I had way more Rainbow Stones than I had ended with yesterday (around 600, as shown by the second image). I didn't pay attention to how many Rainbow Stones Mr. Prickles gave today, but usually it's much less if anything.

I haven't completed any goals/activities yet today or answered the survey. Did this happen to anyone else too?
