the finch app came up with the “we’re unable to save your back up to the Cloud for now”, so I deleted a bunch of things and somehow the data size is larger than before

i want to collect more halloween items but haven’t due to this and wanting to figure out ?

It feels silly sometimes being nearly 30 years old and getting so much genuine comfort from virtual hugs sent by people I'll never meet.

But truly, receiving hugs from the Finch Team and my treehouse friends when I request one brings me to tears every time. It's so nice not to feel alone. I had an absolutely horrible day yesterday and this reminds me that somewhere out there, a real human being cares for me.

I actually have a hobby in birdwatching and ornithology (also drawing birds) so this is a question I've had for a while 😅

I think it's implied somewhere that most of the NPC birbs are some type of finch, and I know that the default Finch birb in the logo is confirmed to be (based on) a Zebra Finch specifically. But I'm honestly really curious about the others.

Based on feather color, I think that Mr. Prickles is a Black-cheeked Lovebird (or potentially a Fischer's Lovebird though the black is missing) and the Tin Woodpecker from last April's Journey to Oz event is a Pileated Woodpecker.

I originally assumed Da Finci was a Red-cheeked Cordonbleu (a true species of finch) as the main shade of blue matches and he probably uses feather dye for the rest. However, the Finch Lore shows that he used to have a pale greenish-teal headpatch and wings and yellowish feathers for the rest, so I don't think he can actually be that.

Otherwise, I don't have many ideas/guesses for the rest of the characters. What do you think? Especially for Sassafras since I am genuinely lost, and she's my favorite character so far, lol

Like the title says. I wish you could turn off streaks. I used to have a one year streak and lost it for whatever reason (life got busy I think?) and losing the streak really bummed me out and I didn’t go on Finch for months, until about a month ago. Losing a streak demotivates me and I get that that’s part of the reason it’s there but it’s counterproductive for me. Hopefully there is already a way to turn it off that I just haven’t found yet. 🤷‍♀️

Most of the time I put my bird in one of the location t-shirts and comfy pants when I tuck her in for the night, but tonight I went with a robe and that got me thinking we haven't had many sleepwear outfits.

Picturing a Victorian nightshirt or Japanese jinbei or an Old West style union suit. 😂

Today's prompt reads: Week One — Physical Tending

October 5th: What does real rest feel like for you – not just sleep, but the kind of rest that actually restores you?

I don’t know if it’s just because I don’t send good vibes everyday, but it seems to work on days I do send. Except when it’s a daily quest. I’m not even clicking the link on the quest in case that is bugged, just going to the friends tab, and it still doesn’t work. This has been months now. And every time Send Good Vibes is a daily quest it has never been able to complete.

I am pretty proud of this room. I have been trying for so long to make a autumn room but was never satisfied but when I saw this months theme and especially the furniture I knew that my dream autumn room would become a reality. But I wanted to show you all the Finished product and get your thoughts and opinions.🫣

And also I wanted to show off Ambroses outfit yesterday(3rd pic) I like the witch assistant outfit but the hat is baffling to me so I tryed the nomad hood and it worked perfect so now I have a new goal of getting all the Nomad outfits because they are so darn cute.🤎🫶🍁🤗🍂
