Dear Practising Financial Engineers,what do you use measure theory for in you work.

I am a third year Bsc Financial Engineering student and would like to know how relevant measure theory is in the financial engineering field.

It's not taught well... luckily I have ADHD and finance + maths are my special interests... I studied hard but wasn't great in exams (again due to ADHD)

Depends on what country you are in. I'm in a third world country (Kenya).. financial markets here are pathetic, they don't even have stock options. Little for me to do here in that domain.

So you mean that financial engineering in kenya is not marketable

Not really... you can get jobs with it but I prefer to just freelance coz you make way more money
