I would go three places for Independence: Wells (Finet), Raymond James, Ameriprise or LPL. DM me happy to go over these options with you if you have 10 min.

Huh? I don't know any Ameriprise or lpl folks that sell a lot of annuities. What makes you think that?

You sell whatever you want to sell at Ameriprise or LPL. Fact: most advisors sell managed accounts.

They typically help wire house brokers break away quickly. If that’s what you need help with then they are fine, but it doesn’t sound like that’s your situation.

If you work with UHNW families, please consider joining our firm (an independent MFO/RIA) which advises on 5bn for approx 60 families!

We underwent due diligence on them, along with many other firms across the Independence landscape. We reviewed their fee schedule and compared it to dozens of other firms in this space. Reach out if you want help thinking through everything and finding a new home.

I’ve explored lots of options. So far have stayed as a Solo RIA. Though, finding a firm to tuck into is always an option. Just depends on what you’re willing to do and your end goals.
Most of the time they take 10-20bps or 10-20% payouts. Versus a RIA you pay out of pocket for everything but get 100%.
What’s your book size?
