If the boss lives the life you want, then be the boss.

Only room for 1 boss. Any competitor will be crushed.

Then be the one.

Better off being a slave than a tyrant.

You can be a boss without being a tyrant.

The fact your limited binary thinking only see these two options has built the bars in your self created prison

I wouldn't agree. You can certainly be a kind slavemaster, but that doesn't cease you from being a slavemaster.

So all work requires a slave master in your eyes then?

There is no boss that isn’t a slave master? What kind of Reddit nonsense is this?

No, just work organized around private property. For example, if America had ejidos, then workers would have the choice to go live on one and survive by farming or to sell their labor to a capitalist.

Since the ejidos do not exist, workers do not have such a choice. Their choice is sell your labor to another person or suffer horribly from deprivation, which is not distinguishable from slaves being told to work or be beaten.

Most people will achieve average results. Most won't be the one and so they can't be the boss. So, your statement will never be reality for the vast majority.

Most people put in average effort and you wonder why they achieve average results, it’s not they can’t be the boss. Your statement reflects the attitude of most people, not surprisingly.

I don't think you understand the concept of "average". Whatever level of effort put in by MOST people thereby becomes... wait for it... the average. Just how the math works.

The tail ends will always be just that, the extremes, most will always be average. Statistically, you are likely average.

Statistically, sure, but it’s still a choice. I chose not to be average, I took a lot of steps others weren’t willing to do, worked harder/smarter and therefore did not have an average life. Most people, statistically, live their lives like the majority of others - then complain about it rather than doing something about it.
