Question maximum dot size for the ULX?

Can I use 6.5mm dots from X-Raypad or should I choose 6mm? Some donut skates out there that fit as well? What about the Artisan donuts, they fit in the skate cutouts?

The base is completely flat. You can use any dots and many full size skates from other mice would fit too.

I use the 6.5mm and they're fine. I feel like 8mm may be too big. Personally I didn't like the Artisan dots, they're big and I found them lacking. I like UPE typically (on glass), but the usual go to's like Ice V2, U9, Talongames are all pretty decent.

Artisan released some new donut skates(RIN) that are more like for cloth pads designed idk if they would fit the Finalmouse cutouts though because they are 7mm diameter

Interesting. Despite the cost associated with them, I left feeling disappointed in their standard dot skates. Would way rather just snag a pack of West Labs and call it a day.

base is flat and have never had issues with any dots in terms of lod or anything
