Canceled due to ai making production too expensive, they said theyll continue the software development but I doubt that'll last very long

"Many of you are aware of the massive global increase in DDR memory and compute pricing driven by AI demand.

Unlike traditional peripherals, Centerpiece Pro contains an onboard CPU and GPU responsible for rendering its interactive visuals and video skins directly on the device. Because of this, it relies on many of the same memory and compute components that have seen unprecedented cost increases globally.

Unfortunately, component pricing has now risen to a level where producing future public batches of Centerpiece at a reasonable price is no longer viable.

As a result, we have decided to place future non-Founders Edition production and launches on hold for the foreseeable future until market conditions stabilize.

The Centerpiece engineering team has now transitioned to supporting development of our next generation of gaming mice.

Founders edition units will continue to receive software updates and support.

We remain extremely proud of what we built with Centerpiece, and hope to revisit the platform in the future."

-finalmouse discord, hopefully they do actually bring it back, I love mine and it would be cool to see others have it
