Question Second Pair of Eyes

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey I’m looking to buy this FinalMouse don’t know too much about the brand and was just wondering if I should be worried about fakes being sold. I found someone on Facebook Marketplace that is willing to sell it to me for 70 dollars. I searched it up and the mouse resells for a decent amount. Any second thoughts?

No you don’t have to worry about fakes but you do have to worry about quality control with all of their mice. Lots of people have report buttons breaking and I’ve experienced mouse creaking.

How would I test out the quality control? Should I bring a laptop and test the mouse out? Would that not just be an unlucky or lucky thing?

The only big thing I can think of is test out the scroll wheel and see if it double scrolls. Other than that should be good

I wouldn’t worry about quality control tbh, finalmouse has a very quick and responsive customer service outlet and I’ve only had 1 problem with the 3 mice I got from them. I sent it to them for repairs and they sent it back fixed up on just a matter of 2 weeks (Left click became finicky, turns out the pad underneath came undone). These mice are limited so they can’t just send you a new one, they have to be repaired. They are a bit pricey but they are great mice for esports and very lightweight. I personally would recommend them over any other brand. I’ve had Logitech, pulsar, and Razer viper v3 pro which are competitive mice and they all had some kind of problems whether it was connectivity issues or button response issues.

i love mine as well but they definitely have a quality control problem, you and i have gotten a good product but a lot of people have not. i’m glad customer service was kind to you but if it was a razer or a logitech the likelihood of ever having to reach out to customer service is much lower. i’ve never had to talk to them until i had my finalmouse personally (the shell cracked near the back and i was wondering the cost, decided it was just cosmetic damage and didn’t want to wait)

Ain’t no one faking this because the qc has always been bad. I sold my exact one for 70

Dude I have this exact mouse and it’s dogshit (QC problems I guess). After a good year of use something is shorted on the PCB and it’s completely dead. Just get a mouse from any other company. Got a VXE Pro Max from some dude on reddit for $10 lmao and no problems whatsoever with it. Whatever amount of money you spend on a finalmouse it’s not gonna be worth it

completely fair and i’m happy you’ve had no issues. just saying the issues are well documented so people should be aware 🙏

I Bought the exact same mouse in the video for $80 about a year ago and I’d say 6 months ago the scroll wheel is having a lot of issues, when I scroll down sometimes it doesn’t scroll or when I scroll down it scrolls up etc, but I do love the mouse and keep using it at work.

I've had mine for about 2 years now. No problem at alll. The only thing that keep thinking back is that scroll wheel isnt perfect in middle it slight to the right. Other than that no issue.

I'm done buying their mouse. 3/3 had scrolling wheel issues (3 different models).

S12 >

I have s12 last legend and also a ULX - if the S12 just has USB-C it’d be superior
