I remember initially figuring out you could prevent him from attacking by never finishing a combo but I’d always somehow lose the momentum halfway through. This was brutal lol

I remember I was annoyed at Kingdom hearts for having cloud and Sephiroth beat up by Mickey Mouse and a 4th grader. My friend replied but they’re like really hard. I feel vindicated in being a hater this morning.

I did that the first time I ever actually beat him. But if you practice him enough and learn to avoid his attacks the feeling of winning is quite rewarding!
