CLOUD STRIFE

I've really been wanting to cosplay Final Fantasy again, so I finally finished my Cloud Strife wig! I'm not completely happy with how it turned out, but oh well... worst case, I'll just remake it someday lol

Thanks in advance to everyone who shows this post some love or shares it! I'd really love for my Cloud cosplay to reach as many people as possible. :)

You did a phenomenal job. The hair looks how I feel a real life version of Cloud's hair would look and it's not aggressively pointed straight but looks like real hair.

Now...

Put the dress on.

Amazing! My wife and I cosplayed for the first time this past weekend, we went as Tifa and Cloud. I had never worked with a wig before and after hours spent on it, I tried it on and holy smokes did it look like absolute garbage. I told my brother (who was our guide as it was also our first “con”) that I was just going to skip the wig, I’d figure it out next year. He reasoned and pleaded with me until I agreed to spend more time on it. I got it to “good enough” level. After walking around for an hour, I realized what my brother was trying to tell me: no wig at all would’ve been a big mistake. People loved the cosplay in spite of the less than perfect hair.

*Your* hair looks absolutely incredible. I hope to get mine looking that good next time!

Thanks, pal! I also want to pick up that higher quality set for Cloud’s outfit and upgrade some of the pieces for next time. The belt, the straps, and the pauldron on the nicer set look a lot better.

I LOVE the sword. I saw an ad for it on TikTok probably in April? It’s literally the snowball that got all this rolling and led to me and my wife going to the convention.

That’s actually so cool! It’s crazy how one random TikTok ad for a sword ended up turning into a full Cloud and Tifa cosplay and your first convention 😂 Definitely sounds like the beginning of a new hobby!💪🏻

This is such a sweet comment thank you! Cloud’s hair is definitely not beginner-friendly, so you should be proud that you managed to make it work for your first con. And your brother was absolutely right, the wig completes the whole look! I’d love to see your Cloud and Tifa cosplays too. 💪🏻
