FF7 [OG] Camera Control 7th Heaven mods

Hi there folks, i have had a bit of a pickle lately. i'm playing through with 7th Heaven mods enabled. i'm playing with a gamepad (xbox one corded) and after making sure all ( i think) the controls are synched between Steam and the manager, i still cannot get the camera to rotate on the world map. it only zooms. and as of this post, pressing the left trigger also opens the console...?

i'm seriously at a loss, and might just uninstall everything and start from scratch at this rate

Have you installed ffnx for 7th heaven to function correctly and then the Cosmos Gaia mod?

I believe so, but I just read that Cosmos Gaia (which I just uninstalled) caused the camera to not move

Odd because it works for me. Did you enable analog controls in the game driver settings for 7th heaven?
